Last month in Changsha, even the wind carried a scorching heat, making people want to stay indoors with the air conditioning on. Yet there was a group of people destined to walk alongside the blistering sun—they were the hardworking sanitation workers, the speeding food delivery riders, and the construction workers operating at height.
In this sweltering season, we did a small but meaningful thing.We prepared 1,000 care packages and delivered these practical care items to those workers—including cooling patches, herbal cooling tea, cooling ointment, mosquito repellent lotion, and mineral water. When they received the love packages, the warm smiles on their faces and a simple “thank you” touched us deeply.
We are used to thinking within the framework of efficiency and cost. But this time, beyond that framework, we felt a distinctly different kind of value quietly taking root. It stemmed from the purest form of care and achieved its own fulfillment through genuine interaction. It transformed us from “bystanders” into “connectors.” We were no longer passive recipients of urban services but became companions standing alongside these workers.Watching the delivery rider grab the package and rush off to his next order, seeing the sun reddened arm of the sanitation worker as he lifted the bottle of water — these real moments of connection reminded us that our ultimate mission in R&D is not simply to create flawless machine components, but to care for and protect human experience. The true temperature of a product comes from this very intention. A company’s vitality lies not only in technological advancement, but also in its sensitivity and care for society.
